Monday the 3rd – HELLO WESTSIDE! – I went over to a studio called Ducttape Media in the late morning, located in the Santa Monica area. I’m going to narrate a new infomercial for a hair product. The session was short and sweet. Then I moved on down the road to drop off my “London After Midnight” cloak to my local tailor to have the cape reattached. On my way in I noticed a lady and her daughter getting into their car. The daughter (probably about 16 years old) was wearing a retro “Star Trek” t-shirt. We started talking about old-school Trek, and how this young fan got into the old series thanks to the new “Star Trek” movie. She wanted to get a uniform made and everything. I also told her about Blu Ray and she was amazed. I’m sure she begged her mom for a Blu Ray player all the way home! It was nice to talk to such a new, young fan of old-school “Star Trek.” I then headed over to Voice Trax West to do another session for HH Gregg electronic stores. I got home and grabbed a nap, then my pal Sara and I went to go grab a bite to eat.

Tuesday the 4th – ERRAND DAY! – I enjoyed a day off by making phone calls, taking care of stuff around the house and running a few errands. Then I grabbed a nap later, and when I got up I recorded some auditions in my home studio and e-mailed them to my agent. I’m working on some new displays in Planet Wallywood, so I got some more work done on those.

Wednesday the 5th – WHATTA WEDNESDAY! – I did some errands, and then went over to Studiopolis Burbank to do some more voice work as Renji for “Bleach.” When I finished there, I made it to my mailbox to pick up some mail, and then to Harry’s Camera in Studio City to take back the Super 8mm editing system I was renting. I put together a reel of about 350 feet of old movie footage from the family archives and I’m having it digitally transferred to DVD. That night I got energetic and cleaned out old clothes from the closet in The Puppet Room, I boxed up old costumes from The Chaney Room, and moved some stuff around in my closet in the master bedroom. It felt good to reorganize all that stuff. It’s much easier to find stuff now. I filled up a big garbage bag full of old clothes that I’m donating to Goodwill. Whew!

Thursday the 6th – MORE ERRANDS! – I started the day by going to Kalmenson and Kalmenson doing an audition. Then I sped over to Voice Trax West to do some more commercials for HH Gregg. I dropped my bag of clothes off at Goodwill, then I hit home to pick up some stuff. After I did, I went to the local framers to have a few things framed. After that I went to Studiopolis Burbank to meet up with Maile Flanagan, who does the voice of Naruto in the show of the same name. I bought my godson Sean a “Naruto” backpack at Comic Con for his upcoming birthday. I wanted to have Maile sign it to him before I mailed it out. She graciously signed it, and I headed over to the post office to mail it to him. (He got it on Saturday! Fast shipping!!) My friend Brittney Powell came by and we went to dinner at a new place in Studio City called The Counter. You can get all sorts of custom-made hamburgers made from and with a variety of ingredients. I picked up some things at the grocery store and then we headed back to hang out for awhile. That night I got some more work done on my closets.

Friday the 1st – DAY OFF! – I enjoyed another day off of doing work around the house and finishing up some personal things. Though I slept really late, I did some things in the afternoon, but then was feeling tired again. (I still don’t think I’ve caught up on all my sleep from the Comic Con week!) I sacked out on my couch for a few hours (the world’s most COMFORTABLE couch, might I add) and then got up to go pick up Sara for dinner. We went to Hometown Buffet in Burbank and ran into a few old buddies of mine there from the Bob’s Big Boy Tuesday night crew. Then I got some Krispy Kreme donuts, some muffins and bagels for the church Elder’s meeting the next morning. But I didn’t get to bed very early.

Saturday the 2nd – ZZZZZZ – I wasn’t able to sleep in since the elder’s meeting was at 8am. I had to be there a little early to help set up the breakfast since I was on the food team this month. When the meeting was over I caught a quick nap on my couch as I was waiting for my maids to show up. Once they did, I caught some more sleep while they worked. Not getting much sleep the night before made me a little groggy throughout the day. But by the time they finished it was time to pick up Sara to head to a function. My friend Juliet Landau, who was on “Buffy”, wrote a few new comic books and she and her boyfriend Deverill Weekes threw a big shindig at Golden Apple Comics on Melrose in L.A. We got over there and met up with Scott and Vickie Sebring, and Ben (a pal visiting from England.) We had a great time hanging out and meeting all the great people there. After the promotion was over, we all met at a famous L.A. eatery…The Pacific Dining Car in downtown. The steaks were delicious and the ambience was terrific. By the time I got home though, Sassie needed dinner and walking, and I put on some “Charlie’s Angels” DVDs and hit the hay.

Sunday the 9th – SUPER SUNDAY! – I slept late (since I was up until about 6am that morning!) and my buddy Terry Crisp came over. I’m considering having some new displays put in at Planet Wallywood, so I wanted to consult with him in regards to construction of a few items. He’s built most everything in my house, so he’s got a really great feel for the style of Planet Wallywood. I drove over to pick up my friends Kassandra and Mechelle to take them to church. I was on elder duty, so I had to be there early. Terry joined us as well. After church we went to the Aroma Cafe in Studio City to have dinner. We went there because it’s one of the few places that allows dogs on their patio. When I got back home I watered the lawn in front of my house. Because of the L.A. drought, we can only have our sprinklers on certain days, but they allow you to “hand-water” any day after 4pm. Silly, I know…but that’s government for ya. Since our grass has been looking brown, I volunteered to water the grass every evening for 15 minutes. I’m going to get that grass green again if it’s the last thing I do!

And how was YOUR week??!!
