The assignment; do a class report on your favorite holiday. But odd little Donnie Druthers can’t decide between Halloween and Christmas, so he creates the hybrid observance of Christoween®. In his report, he details how Santa (stricken with the flu and unable to deliver toys) enlists the aid of his friend Frankenstein to cover for him. When Donnie meets his favorite monster delivering toys on Christmas Eve, a lifetime friendship is born!

“The Musical Mummy”

Mort Mummy is new in town and doesn’t know anyone. But he’s quickly befriended by Donnie Druthers who’s unafraid of his appearance. But Mort must find a job, and soon. Noticing how neatly Mort’s bandages are wrapped, Donnie suggests he get a job at a Christoween® store wrapping gifts. And since Mort is also a hip hop artist, he not only gets the job, but soon becomes the world’s first “Wrapped Wrapping Rapper” and finds international fame!

“Here Comes the Bride”

Frankie writes Donnie to inform him he’ll be back this Christmas Eve to see him. And he’s bringing a friend. Donnie’s a bit put out by this news as he wants his big monster pal all to himself. After dealing with some tinges of jealousy, Donnie decides to welcome Frankie’s friend as his own. When Frankie arrives with his pal, Donnie is elated to learn that she’s Frankie’s Bride! Two monsters for the price of one make for a terrific Christmas Eve!

“What To Do About Wolfie?!”

Santa’s reindeer Blitzen has a defect in his DNA that turns him into a Were-Deer each time the moon is full. He turns from meek and mild Blitzen, to brash and obnoxious “Wolfie.” The rest of the reindeer complain to Santa that he’s too difficult to work with in his transformed state. So Santa contacts his friend Donnie, who’s familiar with all things supernatural, to try and work out some sort of solution to his potential personnel problem.

“Creature Teacher”

Donnie meets the legendary Creature of the Deep at a diner, but is saddened to learn of his odd impediment – the Creature is allergic to seafood! While attempting to find a solution to the culinary burden, Donnie contacts his friend Santa to see if any Christmas magic would help his aquatic friend. Indeed there IS a solution, but the price of the remedy may be more than Donnie’s willing to pay. It could mean an awful Christoween® sacrifice!

“Mission of the Moon Monster”

When a strange creature arrives from the dark side of the moon to visit Donnie, the intergalactic language barrier prevents them from determining the cause of ‘Moonie’s’ visit. Knowing that Santa speaks all languages, Donnie establishes a video chat to see if he can interpret. When ‘Moonie’ sees Santa on the phone, it bows in reverence. It’s soon discovered that the creatures of the Moon want to enjoy the Christoween® observance like on Earth!

“The Transylvanian Tunesmith”

A beautiful young girl with a haunting, musical voice visits Donnie’s house. She’s dressed like a rockstar, has beautiful fangs (with braces!) and long braids. She informs Donnie that her name is Draculatifa, she’s one of Dracula’s daughters, and Santa told her that Donnie might be able to help her get her Christoween® songs published. Donnie’s feelings toward this young lady are unlike anything he’s experienced before!

Story 8
“The Curious Case of Invisible Nan”

After a young girl is bullied by classmates because of her advanced, scientific intellect, she creates an invisibility formula to make herself disappear. But she soon grows tired of being invisible and tries unsuccessfully to create a reversal formula. Blue freeze pops provide a temporary solution to her quandary, but a permanent fix will require an intercession by Donnie, and an amazing deal struck with Santa Claus himself.

“Rude, Sued and Pooh-Poohed”

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! A perplexing legal document is delivered to Donnie that confuses him. Under threat of a lawsuit, an attorney named Chris DeWeen demands that Donnie stop using the word “Christoween®” in his celebratory observances. After more investigation, Donnie realizes that Chris’ sour attitude has deep foundations in his dislike of all things Christmas, and his long-held resentment of Santa Claus.

“UN-Rest In Pieces”

As a zombie, losing body parts is to be expected. So ‘The King of Zombie Rock’ visits Donnie to help him reassemble his body parts that have fallen off over time during his recent world tour. Zomb-E and Wolfie have a huge Christoween® show rapidly approaching, and it’s imperative that Donnie help Zomb-E become whole again in time for the show. Donnie must use his stitching talents (and one of Santa’s revolutionary inventions) to complete the task.

“Spider Rider”

All around Donnie’s house, beautiful, colorful and intricate spider webs start popping up in a wide array of designs. Donnie finally meets Snyder Spider, the arachnid artiste responsible for the creations. They form a friendship, and even become The Spider Bros.! When Donnie gets his Christoween® wish from Santa to be Snyder’s size for 24 hours, the two “brothers” have a day filled with fun and adventure in Snyder’s magical, miniaturized world.

“Dracula’s Dancing Daughter”

At a record release event for Draculatifa’s new Monster Pop album, Donnie meets her little sister Draculatina. He quickly discovers that she’s a bit jealous of her big sister’s fame, and more specifically, resentful of the favoritism Draculatifa receives from their father; the legendary Count Dracula. The solution to the familial strife will take a bold move by Donnie, who must obtain an audience with the King of Vampires himself!

“Donnie Down With The Sickness”

Santa fears the worst when he doesn’t hear from Donnie to request his annual Christoween® wish. Out of grave concern, he mobilizes all of Donnie’s monster friends to investigate, only to discover that Donnie’s VERY sick with Mongolvanian Scourgeacitis 13! This very rare affliction has the monsters traversing the world to procure the rare elements needed to concoct the cure to get Donnie back to health in time for Christmas Eve! It’s then that Donnie realizes what ‘the greatest Christmas gift ever’ is really all about; having good friends who care.
