In May of 2021 my girlfriend at the time was very interested in puppets and puppet building. Since I didn\u2019t have any characters in my collection that her voice was suited for, we decided to tackle the task of building matching Prairie Dawn replicas.<\/p>\n

Michelle was quite at good doing the voice and the character, so this would be a wonderful opportunity for her to continue training and honing her puppeteering skills. Plus, she would learn how to build a puppet along the way.<\/p>\n

Though the puppets themselves would be identical, we each chose our own individual materials for the dresses. I finished mine first in May of 2021, and Michelle used my replica to audition for a Jim Henson Company training program. Because I was going for a more “vintage” look, I chose the “choppy bangs” look for her wig; which is how she appeared early on before she was more “glamorized.”<\/p>\n
