| During the time of Christ, Walrex was a pagan leader, participating in all kinds of evil activities. His worship of the dark side and lust for eternal life backfired on him when the evil god he worshipped made him nosferatu. Frightened and having second thoughts about his new life, he sought out and found Jesus Christ teaching at a temple. He was healed of the vampirism by Christ himself, and not only went back to life as a normal human, but was spiritually transformed. As a glorious side-effect of the healing, he was given eternal life on Earth so that he could witness to others about the beautiful life-changing transformation he experienced. But deep into the 18th Century, when Walrex was a Prince of the British empire, he lost his one true love to a rival. Feeling cheated and rejected by the Lord, he lost his faith and again began dabbling in the dark arts. Once again the curse of nosferatu was upon him, being the only vampire ever in existence to still have a soul, and once again he sought the healing power of Christ as a cure. But the Lord put him to a test in order to earn redemption a second time. Prince Walrex would be earthbound as a vampire until such time as the Lord deemed his faith and works worthy of healing. His spiritual quest for divine faith and healing, is constantly at odds with his vampyric nature of evil and bloodlust. |
