A light, powdery material called Cabosil is poured into a shallow container. This is mixed with the Pros-Aides adhesive into a thick paste that can be used to blend problem edges. | |||||||

The desired shade of base make-up, this being a rubber mask greasepaint for the foam latex prosthetic piece, is scooped onto a flat palette and thinned with 99% alcohol. |

The rubber mask greasepaint base is applied to every area of skin that will show with a make-up sponge.
Then the entire area is powdered with a transluscent powder. |

| Blue and red make up is stippled on lightly with a stipple sponge. This gives the prosthetic piece a more realistic skin texture, and gives the look of blood vessels under the skin and skin imperfections. Then, another light layer of base is applied over that and powdered. | ||||||||
