March
28th, 2002 Wally screened a slightly edited version of KISS' 1978 TV movie "Kiss
Meets The Phantom Of The Park", produced by Hanna-Barbera. A spine-tingling
mystery that matches KISS' extra-ordinary powers against a demented genious
inventor. The KISS boys, Peter Criss (Catman), Ace Frehley (Space Ace), Gene
Simmons (The Demon), and Paul Stanley (Starchild), are scheduled for a sell-out
concert at California's Magic Mountain amusement park when park-goers begin
to vanish without a trace. Behind it all is Abner Devereaux (Anthony Zerbe),
the eccentic creator of the park's life-like cybernetic creatures. When Melissa
(Deborah Ryan) turns to KISS to help her find missing boyfriend, Devereaux feels
threatened and creates cybernetic KISS look-alikes! Featured is some of KISS'
best music performed with stunning effects! Includes Rock and Roll All Night,
Shout It Out Loud and Beth.
A KISS lip-sync contest was held, plus face painting so guests could look like their favorite KISS character!
Silent films screened were Buster Keaton in "Daydreams," and Harold Lloyd in "Easterner Western!"

Wally
poses outside the Silent Movie Theatre as he welcomes
his guests and urges them to enjoy free hotdogs, churros and
pretzels, and to get their faces painted as their favorite KISS
character by People
Painters.
