After several Christmas silents were screened, the Rankin-Bass TV special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" was shown on the big screen!

After
that, the animated "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
from 1966 served as the finale of the evening. The lyrics to all the songs
were projected on-screen so everyone could sing along! A "Best Pajamas"
contest was held, with the grand prize being a large, stuffed, roaring Abominable
Snow Monster doll.
The special guest of the evening was Larry D. Mann, an actor who supplied several voices (including Wally's favorite "Rudolph" character Yukon Cornelius) in the "Rudolph" special. Larry wowed the crowd with stories about the creation of "Rudolph," his history in film and television, and samples of his Yukon Cornelius voice!
