FRANKENTEIN MONSTER IN COLOR!

When my friend Scott Essman sent me this video I just had to post it. It's the only known color footage of Boris Karloff as the famous Frankenstein Monster! WOW! He really WAS green! Karloff's family shot it on film for their family home movies.

Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song
(featuring Leonard Nimoy)

As a fan of the original "Star Trek" since the early 70's, I couldn't help but immediately fall in love with this new video from Bruno Mars. It features the amazing Leonard Nimoy in one of his best performances ever...and he doesn't even say a word. Watch this and see if you agree that Leonard Nimoy is one of the finest actors of our generation. And certainly one of the funniest!

SNACK CANYON

When I was a kid, they used to run snack bar ads at the movies. That was after they ran the opening cartoon, featuring Woody Woodpecker, Chilly Willy, Tom and Jerry and others! Boy do I miss those days! One of my favorite snack bar ads was always "Snack Canyon" featuring penguins in the desert and a super-hero raven named Clark Crow! I know I wasn't the only one who enjoyed this, because as the years wore on, I ran into many people who could quote this thing verbatim! I remember it being a lot longer, but in fact it's only 1 minute long! Ahhh the memories.

I was lucky enough to find a complete, clean 35mm print of "Snack Canyon" on eBay about 5 years ago. Worth every penny I paid for it! I used to run it at all my movie parties at the Silent Movie Theatre. But I've since had it transferred to a video file and I want to share it with all of you. Enjoy...

SNACK CANYON!
