PART VI: Makeup Test
Wally located virtually every shade of gray
cream make-up available, some 11 shades in all! He
created a palette on cardboard to do an intricate
comparison of which colors would work best with each
other. Here, he has painted his hand with the correct
base shade and looks to the palette to provide ideas
about a suitable, darker color for shading purposes.
Using a suitable color, he paints on shading
and blends the edges to examine the effect.
