Ardeth Bey was a character that appeared in Universal's "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns." Sworn to protect the world from the return of the evil mummy Im Hotep, Ardeth will defend his oath to the death! He is represented as an elite member of the Maji, by the traditional tattoo markings on his face and hands.

Wally contacted a friend of his who was working on the costuming staff for the "Mummy" pictures, and inquired about having him make a costume similar to the Maji's seen in the 2 Universal films. Since the patterns and original imported Moroccan fabrics were at his disposal, it was easy for him to construct a complete costume exactly like the originals out of leftover scrap fabric.
