were instrumental in helping to form their performing aspirations.

children, both performed imaginary shows in their bedrooms. Later
on, Wally added imaginary radio shows to his playtime repertoire.

had a love for creating characters and doing impersonations at an
early age.

had an affinity for performing with puppets.

Both
performed schoolyard shows for their classroom peers. (Wally's
Richard Nixon impersonation was a favorite among his classmates).

Both
were referred to as "Elvis" by their Jr. High classmates.

Both
had a cyst on the exact same spot on their necks. Wally had his
removed at the age of 18, but it grew back!

Andy
created and performed Uncle Andy's Funhouse: a children's show.
Wally created and performed Uncle Wally's Wacky World; (pure
coincidence) a children's show with more of a rock and roll edge.

Both
loved "theatre of life" performances; performing for
people in all circumstances and places, not necessarily needing a
stage to perform on. To Andy and Wally, the whole world is a stage!
