Old Films! New Friends! BIG Fun!

Wally poses outside the Silent MovieTheatre.

Over the past few years, Wally rented L.A.'s historic Silent Movie Theatre on Fairfax in Hollywood to throw a huge shindig for his friends and business contacts. It's was a potpurri of film fans, including many professionals in the entertainment industry (actors, singers, musicians, producers, casting directors, writers, technical professionals, artists, agents, managers, celebrity special guests, etc.)! A great time was had by all!

Wally is turning his movie party concept into a TV Pilot! In August, "Uncle Davvers Really Scarry Movie Show" will premier at the Silent Movie Theatre with a full camera crew on hand to capture the magic we've developed at over 12 "Wally's Screening Room" parties!

THE CONCEPT: Uncle Davver is a grungy, undead carcass who lives in the Silent Movie Theatre. He throws wacky movie parties for his friends, a diverse group of ghouls, creatures, humans & aliens. They love to watch bad old movies and yell out scathing and hilarious commentary. Part "Rocky Horror," part "Mystery Science Theatre", and part local TV horror host, "Uncle Davver's Really Scary Movie Show" will be edited into a video presentation and pitched to networks as a series! It all started on Wally's 40th birthday, when silent films from Laurel & Hardy, Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton were screened to an enthusiastic audience.

In addition to the classic silent films with live musical accompanimen by Mr. Bob Mitchell at the organ, a 16mm Riddler episode of the "Batman" TV series was screened, and special guest Frank Gorshin put in an appearance and received a standing ovation!
